S/S 2015 Trend: Gladiator Sandals

Inspired by the ancient wariors, gladiator sandals are definitely this season's biggest shoe trend. They look really edgy, and they are truly sophisticated, which actually makes them a very unique type of shoe. They were mostly spotted at Alberta Ferretti's, Valentino's, DSquared2's, Chloé''s, Hugo Boss's and Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2015 Ready-To-Wear fashion shows, and they were paired with skirts, dresses, rompers etc.
Gladiator sandals are definitely the ideal shoes for all of your casual spring/summer occasions. Paired with everyday dressses, shorts, skirts, skorts, or even rompers, they will add that extra "something" to all of your casual looks, but in the most effortless way possible! Awesome, right?

Here's how the models rocked this lovely trend, at the catwalk:

How To Style Oxford Shoes

When it comes to flat shoes, oxfords just have to be my favorite ones! They are truly classy and really polished, plus, they add a really cool androgynous vibe to every look that they are paired with. Honestly, they are absolutely gorgeous! And on top of all of that, they can be worn throughout the entire year! With flowy skirts and dresses in the spring, with cute pairs of shorts in the summer, with classy cardigans and polished blazers in the autumn, and lastly, with warm and heavy coats in the winter. I mean, really, how cool and awesome can these shoes be? Gosh, i am obsessed! #loovethem
But, if you believe that this type of shoes, is just too masculine for you, then i have two helpful tips for you:
   1) Don't go for a pair of black or brown oxfords, since those are the colours that men mostly wear.  Instead, opt for a fun and bright colour, like pink for example. Also, you can totally pick something that's even more cute and feminine, like a pair of leopard printed ones. Cool, huh?

   2) Style them correctly. Don't wear them with men's-inspired black or navy blue suits, but with pieces that only women can wear, like skirts and dressses. That way, you won't end up looking too masculine!

So, if you need some ideas on how you can style your own pair of oxfords, then just take a look at the following  pictures!

Till the next post, take care everyone!

Camel Fever

If you are looking for a super basic and really versatile coat, then a camel one is exactly what you need! It is actually such a classic and timeless piece, that you are definitely gonna wear for many-many years. Plus, you can totally style it with some also basic pieces, in order to create a really fashionable and chic outfit. So, a white top, your favorite skinny jeans, a pair of leopard printed shoes and a black handbag, is pretty much all you need! Lastly, you can jazz up your super cute look, by adding a cool beige hat! Absolutely gorgeous, right?

So, what are YOUR thoughts on this outfit? YAY or NAY?

Christian Louboutin Shoe Styles

It is no lie that every fashionista's dream is to own -at least- a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, right? And that's totally understandable, since those shoes are so freaking awesome! They are classy, sophisticated, timeless, sexy... and the list goes on...
So, if you are thinking of buying a pair anytime soon, or if your are just a Christian Louboutin shoe lover (like me), then you should definitely check out the following picture!
It actually shows the most popular designs of Christian Louboutin's pumps. Pretty cool, huh? Well my favorite ones are definitely the Batignolles, the Decolette 554 and the Pigalle ones, while my least favorite ones are the ones from the second column, since they all look so cheap, plus, they are totally not my style!

Picture from here.

But how about you? Which ones do you love and which ones do you hate?

A/W 2013-14 Trend: Thigh High Boots

I haven't written an "a/w 2013-14 trend" post in a while, plus, i' ve never actually uploaded a "shoe trend" post before, so today i thought it would be a great idea to write about the hottest shoes of the season: "the thigh high boots"!
Thigh high boots were mainly spotted at the Chanel/ Balmain/ Emilio Pucci and Donna Karan runway shows, where the models rocked a pair of black or brown boots.
But, wearing this type of boots in real life, can sometimes be a little bit tricky, mainly because if you don't style them correctly, there is a strong possibility of you looking skanky insted of sexy, at the end. Personally, i believe that the best way to style these babies, is by pairing them with a skirt/ dress or even a pair of winter shorts that stop just a few inches before the top part of your boots. (...if that makes any sence...!)
The whole point is to just show a liiitle bit of skin, and of course to avoid too much skin exposure, cause a true lady is "Always classy, but NEVER trashy"! ;)
If you wanna see how the models rocked this trend at the catwalk, then take a look at the pictures down below:
