Be Girly, Be Edgy

 

   If we 've met each other in real life, then you probably already know this for me: i am such a girly girl! I love wearing feminine skirts and dresses, floral prints, coloured pieces etc. But on the other side, i truly enjoy wearing leather jackets, structured blazers, edgy booties etc, too! So, i would probably say that i love mixing girly and edgy pieces together, in order to create cool and unique looks.

   And speaking of gorgeous and one-of-a-kind looks, can we just take a moment to talk about this stunning outfit of Olivia Palermo? I mean, i just love the fact that she paired an edgy leather jacket with a girly pencil skirt! And even though these are actually two completely different pieces, Olivia made them work! Pretty darn cool, right?

The Perfect Office Look

   I don't know about you, but when i think of the perfect office look, i always picture in my head something like this. See, for me, the ideal office-appropriate-outfit is all about timeless blazers, pencil skirts, polished pumps and fun accessories!

   So, in order to look professional and put-together in your work environment, i definitely suggest investing on a classic (skirt) suit, that's either black, grey or navy blue. Then, you totaly need a pair of sophisticated pumps that will take your office looks to the next level! And remember, if wearing 4,5 and 5 inch heels 9-5 sounds like an absolute torture to you, then just swap into a lower pair, instead. The 3 and 4 inch ones, look amazing as well! Lastly, if you don't want to make your outfit(s) look too formal, then just add some coloured accessories, like a statement necklace/bracelet or a fun and playful handbag!

   And there you have it... The "recipe" for the perfect office look... ;)

Burgundy Uniform

   I 've always been a fan of matchy-matchy outfits, so from the very first second i saw this incredible picture of Olivia Palermo (aka the best fashion icon evaaa), i was completely blown away! The turtleneck sweater, the pencil skirt, the nude heels, the statement necklace, the oversized sunglasses... Oh my! Everything is just pure perfection! But of course, some people might think that wearing burgundy on burgundy is too much, but i just LOVE this combo, and i would totally rock it! #heckyeaaa
