If this spring and summer you feel like giving a new fun print a try, -apart from floral, stripes and leopard-, then gingham is exactly what you need. It looks totally cool, truly fresh and completely effortless. It's a must! Gingham was actually all over the Spring/Summer 2015 Ready-To-Wear fashion shows, on tops, shorts, skirts, coats, shoes, handbags, everywhere! As for the colours, the combinations are literally endless: white and red, white and pink, white and light blue, white and black, and the list goes on.
So, here are all of the gingham printed pieces that were spotted at the Spring/Summer 2015 runway shows:

Be Girly, Be Edgy

If we 've met each other in real life, then you probably already know this for me: i am such a girly girl! I love wearing feminine skirts and dresses, floral prints, coloured pieces etc. But on the other side, i truly enjoy wearing leather jackets, structured blazers, edgy booties etc, too! So, i would probably say that i love mixing girly and edgy pieces together, in order to create cool and unique looks.
And speaking of gorgeous and one-of-a-kind looks, can we just take a moment to talk about this stunning outfit of Olivia Palermo? I mean, i just love the fact that she paired an edgy leather jacket with a girly pencil skirt! And even though these are actually two completely different pieces, Olivia made them work! Pretty darn cool, right?

But, what about you? Do you like wearing girly and edgy pieces, together?
Let me know in the comments, i am curious!

What To Wear With A White Skirt

A white skirt is an absolute wardrobe essential that is perfect for the spring and the summer time, but can totally be worn during the fall or winter time, as well. It is actually one of those pieces that every girl has to own, since it's super versatile and practical. The combinations are literally endless, but here are some of my favorite ones:
   1) White on white. Just pair your favorite white skirt with a basic white top, add some accessories, and you are ready to go! So easy, so chic!
  2) Black, white, denim. Wear your white skirt with a denim top and a black blazer/cardigan, or just pair your white skirt with a black top and a denim shirt/blazer, instead. Easy-breezy, huh? Of course, you can totally skip the denim part and go for the classic black and white look!
   3) Print it up. Do you own a printed top that you have no idea what to wear it with? Well, the solution to your "problem" dear, is pretty simple! Just pair it with your white skirt, in order to make the print look less intense. Remember, it's all about balance!
But of course, if you need more inspiration on how you can style your white skirt, then just take a look at the gorgeous outfits down below!

What is YOUR favorite way to style a white skirt? Let me know in the comments!

Olivia Palermo's Mix And Match Look

"No one knows how to mix and match like Olivia Palermo": Yes, this is such a cliché expression but there's a reason for that. Olivia DOES know how to mix and match like an absolute pro, since every single time she does so, the result is just so freaking gorgeous! Mixing and matching different prints, colours and fabrics seems to be Olivia's favorite game since, well, she is always the winner. #daaah
Don't believe me? Then just take a look at the following picture. Olivia is actually wearing three different prints (YES, THREE!) and -as always- she looks absolutely amazing! A polka dot shirt, a striped top and a pair of windowpane printed shorts, create a really unique and definitely statement outfit!
And even though this look probably isn't everyone's cup of tea -since it might seem like it's too much- personally, i absolutely love it! It's just so different and original, and definitely not something you get to see every day.

But, what about you? What are your thoughts on Olivia's outfit? Do you love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments!

Plaid On Plaid Looks

Let's be real guys... Mixing different prints can sometimes be a little bit tricky, so if you are new to the whole print-mixing-game, then i suggest wearing two exact prints together (plaid on plaid, tartan on tartan, stripes on stripes etc) at first, and then, you can totally pair two different prints together in order to take your style to next level.
So, feel free to wear two pieces that have the exact same print and create a statement suit that looks chic, stylish and really-really sophisticated! Lastly, don't forget to keep the rest of the outfit simple and classy.
   Have fun, girl!

A/W 2013-14 Trend: Houndstooth Print

If someone would ask me about the hottest prints of the season, plaid would definitely be at the top and houndstooth would come after. Houndstooth print was spotted at the runway shows mainly on coats, pants, skirts and sweaters, as well.
It originates in Scotland in the 1800's and it was originally worn by women of the upper class. Even though its traditional colours are black and white, feel free to experiment with other colours as well, and create a unique and diffrent look!
But, if you wanna keep it safe and simple, then here are some of my favorite houndstooth printed items:

Here's where you can get them: 1234 and 5.

Need some ideas on how you can style YOUR houndstooth printed items...? Get inspired from the amazing fashionistas down below!
