The Lady In Red
As most of you probably already know, red is definitely the biggest colour trend of the season. So, a few days ago, while i was searching online for cute and fashionable outfits, i came across this gorgeous picture that i just HAD to write a post about! Poncho Fever!
If someone would ask me, what is the hottest trend of the season, i would immediatly answer: "Ponchos and capes! Daaah!". Both of them were all over the runway shows, plus, so many fashionistas from all over the world, are already rocking them. And honestly, they are so wearable, more than you could ever imagine! My absolute favorite way to style them though, is by wearing them with a pair of thigh-high boots, just like Miroslava Duma did. Her outfit is chic, trendy, and sexy, too! I absolutely love it! #gorgeous #workthatponchogirl

A/W 2013-14 Trend: Marine Caps
If you are tired of wearing beanies and fedora hats, then marine caps are exactly what you need! You can totally wear them with a casual outfit during the winter -or even the summer- time, in order to add that sailor-boy vibe to your look.
Marine caps were mainly spotted at Ralph Lauren's runway show but few of them were seen at Emilio Pucci's show, as well. As for styling them, a pair of jeans/pants/leggings/winter shorts, a dress or a skirt will work perfectly!

A/W 2013-14 Trend: Full Skirts
They
are below the knee, they are wide, and they look super feminine. Full skirts
are so trendy right now, since they were spotted at the Bottega Veneta, Calvin
Klein, Prada etc runways shows.
They will mostly flatter a tall girl's silhouette, but if you are petite and you still wanna try out this new trend, then i suggest going for the full skirt's short version, instead.

pumps, but if you believe that preppy-style is not really your thing, then just

A/W 2013-14 Trend: Navy Blue
Today's post is all about navy blue, which is also known as the hottest colour of this season. Navy blue is such a classic and sophisticated colour, that can look elegant on -pretty much- everyone.
It's only a touch softer than pure black, so if you are the "i-always-wear-black" type of girl, then this is probably the best time to add some navy blue details to your wardrobe! Feel free to try a navy blue coat,sweater,skirt or jacket, like the models at the runway shows.
It looks amazing with all shades of grey and brown, but if you wanna take your outfit to your next level, pair it with the good old leopard print, and create an unexpected -but still really chic looking- combination!

A/W 2013-14 Trend: Houndstooth Print
If someone would ask me about the hottest prints of the season, plaid would definitely be at the top and houndstooth would come after. Houndstooth print was spotted at the runway shows mainly on coats, pants, skirts and sweaters, as well.
It originates in Scotland in the 1800's and it was originally worn by women of the upper class. Even though its traditional colours are black and white, feel free to experiment with other colours as well, and create a unique and diffrent look!

A/W 2013-14 Trend: Oversized Coats
They definitely weren't meant to fit perfectly, but they totally meant to look chic and classy! "Oversized coats" are really in right now, since they were all over the autumn/winter shows. They could be worn with a pair of denim or leather pants for the daytime, or with a sophisticated formal dress/skirt, during the night.
Lastly, if you are a tall girl you can totally rock this trend, but if you are petite you might have to reconsider before trying it, since you don't wanna end up looking like you are being swallowed by the coat, cause YOU should be the one wearing the coat, not the opposite! But again, you can never really say for sure, unless you actually try it!
