Double Denim

I don't know about you, but my all-time-favorite trend, just has to be the "denim on denim" one! I have actually worn this trend so many times, that i now see double denim as a classic combination, and not just as a trend that will come and go in no time.
And the main reason why i love this combo so much, is basically because it works as a neutral canvas, on which you can add 1) some colourful pieces in order to create fun and playful looks, or 2) some basic and staple pieces in order to create timeless and classic outfits, just like the one above. Plus, it only takes your favorite pair of (skinny) jeans and a cool denim shirt, to give this amazing trend a try! #awesomeness #pureawesomeness

So, what are your thoughts on double denim? YAY or NAY?
 Tell me in the comments!

How To Wear White In The Fall

As some of you might already know, there is a fashion "rule" that goes something like this: "Never wear white after Labor Day", meaning that you shouldn't wear white pieces after the first Monday of September, because at that time of the year autumn is just around the corner, so you should probably start wearing darker colours like black, grey, burgundy, and -of couse- stay away from white!
But, are there really "rules" in fashion...? Well, i don't know about that, but THIS i can say for sure: "White could totally be worn during the winter time as well. It will make any fall outfit look fresh, chic, and much more interesting!
So, here are four super chic ways that you can wear white in the fall:

1)The Denim Pants
Every single girl should own a pair of white denim pants. During the summer you can style them in so many different ways, but during the fall try pairing them with dark colours, in order to achieve an interesting colour-contrast!

2)The Leather Jacket
It is no lie that you can never really go wrong with the super classy and super chic combo of black and white. But, if you wanna take your outfit to the next level, try holding a burgundy bag, and add an extra glam to your look!

3) The Ruffle Skirt
If you own a white skirt that you really enjoyed wearing in the summer, then i 've got some good news for you, girl! You can totally keep wearing it, but now, pair it with some winter-y colours, like black and grey!

4) The -faux- Fur Coat
When the temperature drops and the weather is super cold, a fur coat will definitely become a good friend of yours! It will keep you warm and cozy, plus, it will instantly make your outfit look chic and classy!

So, that's all for today's post! I hope you enjoyed it and found it helpful! Also, don't forget to follow "Just Smile With Style" on bloglovin!

How To Wear Your Summer Clothes In The Fall

So, summer is officially a part of the past now, and it's that time of the year again where you have to put away all of your summer clothes and bring out the winter ones. Or NOT...?!
Well, the truth is that a lot of your summer basics could totally be worn during the fall, as well! It's a creative, practical and budget-friendly procedure (especially for students -like me-). Pretty cool, huh...?
So, here are some tips and tricks for bringing your summer wardrobe into the fall!

1) The Denim Shorts
During the summer we wore them with everything: a plain top and a pair of flats/ a formal shirt and a pair of gorgeous ankle strap heels etc. But, during the fall the first thing you wanna do is put on a pair of black (opaque) tights, then choose your favorite cropped sweater from your closet, and at last, finish your stylish outfit with a pair of oxfords or ankle booties. So easy, so chic!

                                    Sincerely Jules

2) The Floral Pants
Floral print is a must for the summer time, but who said that your can't rock your beloved floral pants when the temperature drops..? The key is to just keep it simple, by adding some black and white touches to your outfit. So, floral pants during the fall...? YES please...!

3)The Maxi Skirt
The piece that almost every fashionista rocks during the summer time: the maxi skirt. It's girly, chic and playful! If you wanna wear your favorite maxi skirt in the fall, all you need are some wardrobe essentials: a denim shirt, a (faux) leather jacket and a pair of ankle booties. The result looks edgy, yet super feminine!

4) The Coloured Pants
Coloured pants are a great alternative to your everyday blue jeans, and you can totally wear them in the fall, as well. If you own a pair of hot pink denim pants, pair them with a grey -oversized- coat (a zebra-printed/striped one will work too), add a white blouse, and finish your look with a pair of lace up ankle boots, for a fresh and chic result!

How To Style: Red Denim Pants

As you can probably already tell from the title, in this post i decided to write about five (5) different ways that you can style red denim pants, since red is my 2nd favorite colour in the world (with hot pink being the 1st one...), plus, colour jeans are definitely a wardrobe must-have!
   So, let's begin...

   1) In order to achieve this look, you just need some basic pieces: a white top, a black blazer and a pair of black shoes. So easy, so elegant...!

   2) Combine red with gray, while keeping the rest of the outfit simple and neutral (black top, black shoes, black handbag), and get a casual, yet chic result!

   3) You can never really go wrong when you wear two basic pieces together, since a denim shirt and a pair of colour jeans will create a safe and simple outfit, but if you wanna look unique and different, i suggest wearing a pair of not-so-ordinary shoes, like the gold oxfords that Andy Torres is wearing in the picture!

   4) When you wear red with brown, the result is a sophisticated, elegant and chic look! Go ahead and give it a try...

   5) If you feel like you can't really rock a total black outfit -like me- then try wearing red bottoms instead, for an edgy, yet girly result!

I really hope you enjoyed reading this post...! ;)
